Photo & caption IX

Since Christmas, I've somehow felt really busy without actually knowing what I've been doing. I don't have many photos to really remind me either but I'm leaving for Sydney tomorrow and want to catch you up before the Sydney post.

After coming back home, I've kind of reconnected with my creative side. I made a travel video, and although it wasn't very good in terms of my filming/editing and stuff, I loooooveed making it and rewatching the memories and everything :') I also started sketching again and began my Japan/Taiwan scrapbook. I bought the same scrapbook as the one I used for my Europe trip and am thinking of just using that for every trip I go on. Then in the end I'll just have a collection of identical scrapbooks heh. Myky also posted heaps of snaps of her paintings which kind of makes me want to get into painting again as well. I have so many plans but uni does begin really soon actually so who knows what's going to happen.
I literally only buy Frankie magazine once a year now so I can get the giant wall planner they give out in every december issue. But reading it again reminds me how much I loved it.
Chilling with Mango
Breakfast at Piggyback Cafe with my favourites. Dad woke us up early to go to 7am mass and when we got to church, there was literally no one because they moved the mass time to 9am. Since he woke us up literally 30 minutes before mass was meant to start, we didn't have time to get ready/fully wake up hence why Huong looks dead HAHA. We decided to go to breakfast, just down the road from the church, instead.

Today, my sisters and I went out for brunch at Paddington but before that, we just drove around ticking off a lot of things on our to-do list, including picking up our Zaful order from the post office (yay)!!! Drove by Shouk Cafe but the line was out the door so I decided to stop by Vinnies to drop off some donations first. Tried Shouk a second time and they were still just as full so we headed across the street to Chapter IV instead since we'd never been.

I actually really wanted to go to Shouk to try the new menu, which they recently changed when they decided to change their name to Naim Restaurant. Not too sure what's up with the name change either and really wanted to ask a waiter but next time I guess. Chapter IV was definitely worth it though!! The menu was soo fire and had so many options and the cafe itself is quite spacious and relaxing and the vibes were just so good. The cabinet also had heaps of yummy cakes but we were too full to try them :( I'll definitely be back though. Huong and I ordered the mushrooms on toast and Thanh had the pea and zucchini fritters and both were yummm.

Yay so keen for Sydney and I'll see you after we get back!!
